We're Proud To Announce the First Annual Community Flea Event in Woodward Park, Northland, Ohio

May 18, 2025 — The Karmel Woodward Park Civic Association (KWPCA) is replacing the Neighborhood Garage Sale with a Community Flea Market due to previous years' declining event participation. This decision was made after 9 out of 10 survey participants responded positively to the proposed change.

The full results of the survey have been posted at the bottom of this page.

A centralized flea market makes it easier to browse multiple vendors, connect with neighbors, and sell—even without enough items for a full garage sale. In addition to sellers of secondhand goods and garage sale items, we encourage creators, makers, and small businesses to take part.

Attendees are encouraged to browse a variety of goods, meet their community, and check out the changes that have been occurring at the Northland Aquatic Park (NAP). In addition to traditional Community Flea attractions, train rides will be available for kids of all ages (although 12 and under will need adult supervision.)

Vendors and sellers pay a $10 spot fee (waived for KWPCA members) and set up at 8:00 AM on event day in 10' x 10' areas. Vendors, please bring your own tables and tents. Booth numbers will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. More information will be emailed to registered vendors before the event, including booth info, setup instructions, and site maps. Registration closes June 3, 2025.

This new event will take place June 7 (or June 28 if rained out) from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Northland Aquatic Park, 5006 Almont Drive. Please join us for a day of community fun!

2025 Community Flea Survey Results!

A heartfelt thank you to the 10 residents who took the time to give valuable feedback during the open comment period for this event change. We were delighted with the positive feedback and hope to create a lasting experience that serves the Karmel Woodward Park community for years to come.

One respondent raised concerns over parking and vendor setup logistics. We want to assure the community that organizers are taking care to ensure a seamless experience for both vendors and attendees and that measures are being taken to address these concerns in full.

Please see the full results of our survey below. (Note: Sensitive information such as phone numbers have been redacted to protect the privacy of our respondents.)
