May 18, 2025 — The Karmel Woodward Park Civic Association (KWPCA) is replacing the Neighborhood Garage Sale with a Community Flea Market due to previous years' declining event participation. This decision was made after 9 out of 10 survey participants responded positively to the proposed change.
The full results of the survey can be viewed here.
A centralized flea market makes it easier to browse multiple vendors, connect with neighbors, and sell—even without enough items for a full garage sale. In addition to sellers of secondhand goods and garage sale items, we encourage creators, makers, small businesses, and food trucks/vendors to take part. Vendors and event volunteers can sign up on the KWPCA Community Flea Event Info Page.
Vendors and sellers pay a $10 spot fee (waived for KWPCA members) and set up at 8:00 AM on event day in 10' x 10' areas. Vendors, please bring your own tables and tents. Vendor area numbers will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. More information will be emailed to registered vendors before the event, including booth info, setup instructions, and site maps. Registration closes June 3, 2025.
Attendees are encouraged to browse a variety of goods, meet their community, and check out the changes that have been occurring at the Northland Aquatic Park (NAP). In addition to traditional Community Flea Market attractions, train rides will be available for kids of all ages (although 12 and under will need adult supervision.)
This new event will take place June 7 (or June 28 if rained out) from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Northland Aquatic Park, 5006 Almont Drive. Please join us for a day of community fun!
